# Method:

03 - Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt evenly over the apples.
04 - Drizzle maple syrup or honey over the top, then pour in water or apple juice.
05 - Scatter butter pieces across the surface of the apples.
06 - Seal the lid and cook on high pressure for 2 minutes.
07 - Allow natural pressure release for 3 minutes, then carefully quick-release remaining steam.
08 - Stir in vanilla extract. For a thicker syrup, use Sauté mode and simmer gently for a few minutes while stirring.
