01 - Combine diced strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally for 5-7 minutes until strawberries soften and release juices, forming a syrupy consistency. Mash lightly with a fork to achieve desired texture. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
02 - Distribute cooled strawberry sauce evenly between two tall glasses, coating the bottom of each glass.
03 - Place a few fresh strawberry slices along the inside of each glass against the glass wall for visual presentation and added texture.
04 - Slowly pour cold milk over the strawberry sauce in each glass. Add ice cubes if desired for a chilled beverage.
05 - Gently stir with a spoon to create a swirling marble effect between the red sauce and white milk. Serve immediately while cold.
